Red Umbrella Photography - Ann & Mike Tie The Knot!

This past Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of one of the most giddy-in-love couples I have ever met! Ann and Mike are such wonderful individuals and I can only imagine the amazing life they'll share together as they start this new chapter as newly weds. They share a passion for working with youth and children in Africa and I expect that's exactly where they will spend a significant part of the years to come.

Red Umbrella Photography - Engagement Photos!

You would never know it's springtime in these photos. These two had hoped for a winter photo shoot and with the weather we've had this year they were lucky enough to get one in April!

A New Look!

Hi all!!

I'm very excited to announce that I'll be launching a brand new website for Red Umbrella Photography (and loads of fun new packages too!!) Along with the new website comes a new logo which I'd love to share with you now.

Here's a little peak into the new look and how it came about...

How it was made:

Step 1: I snapped this photo of my red umbrella :)

Step 2: I focused on the lines of the umbrella

I edited it a bit and then made the horizontal line longer before adding the text

And there you have it! RUP's new logo! I'd love to hear your thoughts on it so don't be shy to share them :)

I made my way to Toronto for today's photo session. Heidi and I met while working at Muskoka Woods and have managed to keep in touch over the last few years (that's where my first photography job was). I was so excited when she called to book a session with me and am looking forward to sharing some of today's shots with everyone!
